As a routine phenomenon in civil service , the NYSC Jigawa State had on Friday 5th April, 2024 witnessed a change of leadership where Mallam Jidda Dawut takes over the mantle of leadership of the Secretariat as the 15th State Coordinator.
Mr Jidda Dawut who had already assumed duty was the immidiate past NYSC Gombe State Coordinator before his new posting.
Speaking during the handing over ceremony which was held at the Multi Purpose Hall of the NYSC Jigawa State Secretariat , Dutse , the new State Coordinator expressed his appreciation to members of staff for the warm reception accorded to him on arrival.
On the Operations of the scheme in the State, Dawut expressed his delight over the successes recorded by his predecessor , where he described her as exceptional leader worthy of emulation.
He then promised to build on the good legacies she has left behind.

On his administration policy , Mr Dawut promised an open door policy and then seek for maximum support and cooperation from the Staff.
” We are all change agents , so let’s continue to put our heads together to achieve the mandate of the Scheme not only in the State but in the nation at large , and this would only be achieved through maximum support and cooperation by all “, he said.
Earlier in her remarks , the outgone Coordinator, Mrs A’ishatu A Adamu thanked and appreciated the Staff for the support rendered to her during her stewardship, where she described it as memorable one that provided her with the golden opportunity to contribute her own quota towards a successful operations of the scheme in the State.
Mrs Adamu then urged members of staff to extend the high level of support given to her to the new Coordinator so as to sustain the good collaboration the Secretariat has been enjoying from its critical stakeholders in the State.
While delivering a vote of thanks on behalf of the staff , the Assistant Director ( Deployment and relocation) , Alhaji Hanafi Abubakar extolled the virtue of the outgone Coordinator as a committed and dedicated leader that lifted the Secretariat to an enviable height.
He thereafter wish her God’s guidance and protection in her new posting and life endeavors.
Equally, Hanafi welcome the new Coordinator to NYSC Jigawa State and pledged the maximum support of the Staff for him to achieve on his assignment .
Highlights of the occasion is presentation of gifts to the outgone State Coordinator by Staff.
