EID-EL FITR 1445AH: Governor’s Chief press secretary felicitates with Jigawa Emirates

The Chief press secretary to Jigawa state governor Hamisu Muhammad Gumel has felicitated with the emirs of Dutse, Gumel, Hadejia, Ringim, and Kazaure on Eid-elfitr celebration and successful completion of Ramadan Fast.

This is contained in his Sallah message to the 5 Jigawa Emirates which was made available to newsmen in Dutse on Thursday, 11th April, 2024.

Gumel prayed that Allah continues to protect the state to remain in peace and to improve the socio-economic status of the people in the state.

Though inflation has caused a lot of hardship not only in Jigawa but in Nigeria and some part of the world, Hamisu reassures the people of the state that these hardship would be history as the government is doing all it can to address the issue.

He said the rising inflation is connected to dollar exchange rate in the global foreign exchange Market, but yet the federal government has started addressing the issue as the dollar rate is coming down.

The CPS said in line with governor Malam Umar A Namadi’s 12 point agenda to reduce poverty level, the vulnerable people in the state are enjoying the poverty alleviation and palliative programs.

He said the state government under the able leadership of Namadi FCA is doing all it can to remain committed in addressing poverty among Women and youths in the state.

Gumel then prays that Allah continue to uplift the state’s 5 emirates as they are assisting the government in addressing some issues withing their area of leadership.

He also congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah for the completion of Fasting and observed the Eid-el FITR 1445 A. H.
