Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA of Jigawa state has visited Ethiopia which marked a pivotal moment in the efforts to revitalize Jigawa State’s agricultural sector. 

The governor was welcomed by the Nigerian Ambassador to Ethiopia at the VIP Lounge of the Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa on Monday 15th April, 2024, the governor’s mission carried significant weight.

At the heart of his trip was a strategic collaboration with the World Bank, aiming to inject momentum into the agricultural landscape of Jigawa State.

With the World Bank’s vast resources and expertise in development projects, this partnership holds the promise of transformative change for the region.

By leveraging international support and forging strategic alliances, Governor Namadi is laying the groundwork for sustainable agricultural development in Jigawa State. 

This collaboration signifies a bold step towards enhancing food security, boosting rural livelihoods, and fostering economic growth in the state.
