Kirikasamma LGC Disburses 3.7 Million Naira to 182 Casual Staff

In a bid to enhance the standard of living and healthcare services in Kirikasamma and its environs, the Council Chairman, Isah Adamu Matara, has approved the disbursement of 3.7 million Naira as monthly allowances to 182 casual staff working across the local government area.

According to the Council Chairman, this gesture is part of the administration’s commitment to reducing unemployment and improving the overall well-being of the people. 

The beneficiaries include 65 certified technical casual staff, comprising laboratory technicians, environmental health officers, and others, who will receive 20,000 Naira each. Additionally, 57 non-technical staff, including cleaners and watchmen, will receive 10,000 Naira each.

Furthermore, 60 casual staff employed to maintain cleanliness in markets, roadsides, graveyards, and other public areas will also receive 20,000 Naira as their monthly allowance. 

The Head of Department, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Muhammad Maisamari, commended the Council Chairman for his foresight in addressing the manpower scarcity in the civil service.

The information officer, Musa Muhammad Hadejia, praised the initiative, stating that it will significantly improve healthcare services delivery and enhance the overall quality of life for the people of Kirikasamma. 

This development demonstrates the local government’s dedication to investing in human capital and promoting a healthier and more prosperous community.
