Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has assured the government and people of Katsina State that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is dedicated to securing Nigeria from all forms of insecurity threats.
During a courtesy call to Governor Dikko Umar Radda at Government House Katsina on June 3, 2024, the Minister stated that the President is fully committed to ending insecurity nationwide.
This was disclosed in a statement shared with Jigawa Post by Mati Ali, PA Media and Publicity to the Minister of Defence.
The Minister, who was received by Deputy Governor Faruk Lawan, explained that he visited Katsina State to assess troops’ operational modalities, encourage them, and ensure farmers’ safety during the upcoming rainy farming season.
Badaru Abubakar emphasized the Ministry of Defence’s partnership with Katsina State Government and other federal defence agencies to end insecurity in the state.
Deputy Governor Faruk Lawan, on behalf of the Governor, expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s support and timely visit, which coincides with the preparation for farming season.
