This is an official advertisement for the positions of Bursar and Librarian at Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel. The college is seeking qualified candidates to fill these vacant positions. Here’s a summary of the requirements and application process:

*Bursar:*

– First degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting and Finance or related discipline

– 18 years of cognate experience, preferably in a higher learning institution

– Professionally recognized accountancy qualifications (ANAN, ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ICAN)

– Not below the rank of Deputy Bursar on CONTIDESS 14 or its equivalent

– Age limit: 55 years

– Computer literacy and knowledge of contemporary financial management principles

*Librarian:*

– Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS) with 12 years of experience or BLS with 15 years of experience

– Age limit: 60 years

– Scholarly publications, conference attendance, and membership in professional associations

– Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant applications

– Registration with TRCN and demonstration of academic/administrative leadership

*Application Process:*

– Submit 12 copies of typewritten applications and curriculum vitae

– Specify the required information (name, post applied, date and place of birth, etc.)

– Include names and addresses of three referees

– Closing date: 24th August 2024 (six weeks from the date of publication)
