Muhammad Salisu Seeker, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Students Affairs to the Jigawa State Governor, has called on students in the state not to participate in the forthcoming nationwide protest.
In a statement, Seeker advised students against participating in the protest, citing potential negative consequences such as disruption of academic activities, risk of injury or arrest, damage to public property, and negative impact on their reputation and future opportunities.

Seeker highlighted the Jigawa State government’s commitment to students’ welfare, including investments in education infrastructure and resources, payment of scholarships, and the Federal Government’s introduction of student loan programs.
He urged students to focus on their studies and personal development, and to channel their energy into making a positive impact in their communities and building a better future for themselves and the nation.
Seeker also cautioned against allowing others to manipulate them into putting their future at risk, citing the example of Sudan where protests led to chaos and instability.
