AEEI Hails Jigawa Speaker for Enrolling 8,000 Children Back in School

The Adolescents Education and Empowerment Initiative (AEEI), a civil society organization in Jigawa State, has commended the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, for his efforts in enrolling over 8,000 out-of-school children back in school.

AEEI Chairperson Hajiya Nafisa Halliru Haruna praised the speaker’s commitment to improving education in the state during an interaction with newsmen in Dutse on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

“Nafisa noted that the speaker deserves commendation for his concern towards education. She urged other political appointees and philanthropists to emulate his gesture.

According to Nafisa, education is essential for children during their formative years, not material possessions.

Jigawa post reports that the speaker had facilitated the enrollment and return of out-of-school children to primary and junior secondary schools. He distributed school materials to some of the newly enrolled children at Sabuwar Dalam village primary school in Miga local government area.

Dangyatin noted that the beneficiaries were children of less-privileged people, including orphans who lacked parental support.
