Kaduna Chief of Staff, Sani Kila Honored with Khadimul-Islam Title

Alhaji Sani Kila, Chief of Staff to Kaduna State’s Governor, has been honored with the Khadimul-Islam title by the Kaduna State Tsangaya School Committee. This recognition celebrates his significant contributions to the Tsangaya System of Education and Islam’s propagation.

The Committee said the appointment of Alhaji Sani Kila was in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the development of Tsangaya System of Education and propagation of Islam in general.

Receiving the Award at Arewa House Kaduna on Wednesday, Sani said the Tsangaya system of Islamic education has been in existence in Nigeria, centuries before the amalgamation of the Country, which has contributed immensely to the development Islam through memorization, writing and teaching of the Qur’an.

He said it was in recognition of the importance of the Tsangaya System of education to inculcation of morals in the society, that the Governor Uba Sani is committed to its improvement, development and standardization.

The Tsangaya system has a rich history in Nigeria, dating back centuries before the country’s amalgamation. It focuses on memorization, writing, and teaching of the Quran, playing a vital role in Islamic development.

Governor Uba Sani is dedicated to enhancing this traditional system, acknowledging its importance in instilling moral values in society. 

His administration has initiated education reforms, addressing issues like out-of-school children and improving access to education.
