The Jigawa Post Media Company (JPMC) has extended its heartfelt condolences to Governor Malam Umar Namadi, his family, friends, and the people of Jigawa State, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar. She departed this world on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024, after a brief illness.
Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar was a pillar of strength and inspiration to her family and community. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those who knew her.

Governor Namadi has been actively leading Jigawa State’s development, focusing on economic growth, human empowerment, and infrastructure development. The JPMC’s condolence message reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the governor and the people of Jigawa State during this difficult time. The company prayed that Allah grants Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar eternal rest and paradise.
