Jigawa Civil Society Forum Condoles with Governor Namadi Over Mother’s-Son Death

The Jigawa Civil Society Forum (JCSF) under the lesdereship of Ibrahim B. Muhammad Ringim has extended its heartfelt condolences to Governor Malam Umar Namadi FCA of Jigawa State, following the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, and son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
In a condolence message signed by Yusuf Jafar Birnin Kudu, Secretary of the JCSF, the forum expressed its deep sympathy to the governor, his immediate family, the government, and people of Jigawa State.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar and Abdulwahab Umar Namadi,” the message read. “May Allah bless their souls with eternal peaceful rest and make Al Jannatul Firdausi their abode.”
Ibrahim B. Muhammad Ringim also prayed for Governor Namadi to be granted the strength and fortitude to bear these great losses, and for the painful experience to strengthen his faith in Allah.

Jigawa post report that the condolence message from the JCSF is one of many that have poured in from various organizations and individuals, including government officials, traditional leaders, and civil society groups.
The people of Jigawa State are currently in a state of mourning, following the double tragedy that has befallen their governor. Governor Namadi’s mother passed away on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024, after a brief illness, while his son died in a fatal accident just a day later.
Ringim prayed that may Allah grant the deceased eternal rest and provide comfort to Governor Namadi, his family, and the people of Jigawa State.
