JONAPWD Jigawa State Branch Condoles with Governor Namadi over Double Tragedy

The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) in Jigawa State has extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Malam Umar Namadi Danmodi over the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, and his son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.

In a condolence message, Hon. Adamu Shaaibu J/Tsada, Chairman of JONAPWD in Jigawa State, expressed his deepest sympathies to the governor and his family, praying that their souls rest in perfect peace.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar and Abdulwahab Umar Namadi,” Hon. Adamu said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Namadi, his family, and the people of Jigawa State during this difficult time.”

Governor Namadi’s mother passed away on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024, after a brief illness, and was laid to rest in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, in accordance with Islamic traditions. The governor’s son, Abdulwahab, tragically died in a fatal accident just a day later.

Jigawa post report that the condolence message from JONAPWD Jigawa State Branch reflects the solidarity and compassion of the people of Jigawa State during this difficult time. The organization’s gesture of support is a testament to the strong bonds between the government and the people of Jigawa State.
