Management of FMC Birnin Kudu Condoles with Governor Namadi over Death of his Son

The Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Birnin Kudu Dr.Adamu Abdullahi Atterwameih, on behalf of the Management of the Centre, condoles with the Jigawa State Governor, His Excellency Malam Umar Namadi FCA, over the tragic loss of his 24-year-old son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, that occurred this afternoon following a fatal road traffic accident.

Dr. Atterwahmie prayed that Allah grants the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi and provides the Governor, his family, and the people of Jigawa State with the strength to bear this immense loss.

The governor’s son died in a fatal accident that occurred today, Thursday, December 26th, 2024, just a day after the passing away of his grandmother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi. The Governor’s mother was laid to rest in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, in accordance with Islamic traditions.

Governor Namadi, who was in China on an official trip, returned to Jigawa State immediately upon learning of his mother’s passing.

Dr. Atterwahmie’s condolence message is one of many that have poured in from across the state and beyond. The people of Jigawa State are in shock over the double tragedy that has befallen their Governor, and many have travelled to Kafin Hausa and some have taken to social media to offer their tributes, condolences and support.

May Allah grant the deceased eternal rest and provide the governor, his family, and the people of Jigawa State with the strength to bear this immense loss. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun, from Allah we’re and to him we will all return.
