The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Dutse Branch has sent a heartfelt condolence message to Governor Malam Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, following the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maimuna Namadi Umar, and son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
In a statement signed by Mustapha Mohammed Kashim, Esq, Chairman of the NBA Dutse Branch, the association expressed its deep sympathy and shared grief with the governor and his family during this difficult time.
“The NBA Dutse Branch is deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved mother and son,” the statement read. “We share in your grief and pray that Allah grants you, your family, and the people of Jigawa State the fortitude to bear this colossal loss.”
The association urged the governor to find solace in his faith and the knowledge that the deceased will be granted the highest grade of Jannah. The statement concluded with a prayer for Allah to forgive the souls of the deceased and grant the governor and his family the strength to bear their losses.

Jigawa post report that this condolence message is one of many that have poured in from various organizations and individuals, including government officials, traditional leaders, and civil society groups, following the tragic loss of the governor’s mother and son.
May Allah grant the deceased eternal rest and provide comfort to Governor Namadi, his family, and the people of Jigawa State.
