Governor Mallam Umar Namadi of Jigawa State continued to receive an overwhelming show of support and sympathy on the fifth day of condolence visits following the tragic loss of his mother and son.

The governor’s office was inundated with visitors from various sectors, including traditional leaders, religious organizations, and government agencies. These visits demonstrate the strong bond between Governor Namadi and the people he serves.

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor Hamisu Muhammad Gumel, the dignitaries and Organizations Pay Their Respects included;

– 15th Emir of Kano: His Highness, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, sent representatives to convey his deepest condolences and prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased.

– Emir of Daura: A representative of the Emir of Daura also conveyed condolences to the governor, his family, and the people of Jigawa State.

-Bankers Forum, Jigawa State: Led by Hajiya Sa’adatu Ibrahim, the forum expressed their heartfelt sympathy, acknowledging the heartbreaking tragedy of losing a mother and a young son.

– Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS): Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun led the Izala group in offering condolences and prayers, quoting a verse from the Holy Qur’an that highlights the inevitability of death.

– Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi: A representative delivered a poignant message, reminding everyone of the importance of the Qur’an and the inevitability of death.

– Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN): The leadership of the FRCN, led by Director-General Dr. Mohammed Bulama, expressed deep sympathy and commiserated with the governor and his family.

CPS Hamisu Gumel said Governor Namadi expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming sympathy shown to his family during this difficult time. “We sincerely appreciate everyone who has stood with us in these trying times. May Allah reward you all.”
