FUD governing council promotes Dr. Nasiru Ahmad Sarkin Dory to Ass. Prof.

Dr. Nasir Ahmad Sarkin Dori is a renowned expert in Political Economy and Development Studies, currently serving as an Associate Professor (Reader) at the Department of Political Science, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State. With a strong academic background and extensive experience in research, teaching, and community development, Dr. Sarkin Dori has made significant contributions to the fields of political science, development studies, and public administration.

Dr. Sarkin Dori holds a PhD in Political Economy and Development Studies from the University of Abuja, as well as Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Policy Analysis, and Political Economy and Development Studies. He is also a Fellow of the Certified Financial Analysts (CFA) and Institute of Corporate Administration (ICA), among other professional affiliations.

Dr. Sarkin Dori has published numerous research papers in reputable journals, focusing on topics such as political economy, development studies, public administration, and good governance. His research interests include sustainable development, poverty reduction, and conflict resolution.

Dr. Sarkin Dori is actively involved in community development initiatives, serving as Chairman of the Tudun Yola Bajallabe Community Development Organization and Consultant in Guidance and Counseling for the Safinatul Khair Self-Help Community Foundation. He has also held various leadership positions within the university and community, including University Coordinator for Remedial Programs and Member of the Senate Committee on Examinations and Related Misconduct.

Dr. Sarkin Dori’s work has been recognized through various appointments and delegations, including serving as an External Examiner for the Department of Political Science at Federal University Dutsin-Ma and participating in national conferences on corruption, development finance, and public administration.
