Jigawa State Opens Portal for Agricultural Loans to Civil Servants”

The Jigawa State government has announced the opening of an application portal for civil servants and political appointees interested in accessing agricultural loans. 

The portal, which goes live on Friday, June 21, 2024, at midnight, will remain open until Monday, June 24, 2024, midnight.

According to a statement signed by Muhammad K. Dagaceri, Head of Service and Chairman of the Technical Committee on Workers Agricultural Support Programme, the loan is aimed at supporting civil servants and political appointees who want to venture into farming.

Interested applicants are required to log on to the portal at (link unavailable) and apply using their Personnel Staff Number (PSN).

This initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to promote agricultural development and support its workers in diversifying their income streams.
