As the first term of the current Hadejia Local Government administration comes to a close, it is clear that the administration has made significant strides under the leadership of Hon. Bala Umar. Over the past three years, there has been a notable improvement in citizen inclusion, open governance, and local government administration.
The community’s participation has been instrumental in shaping Hadejia’s current state and raising its level of awareness. Under Bala Umar’s leadership, the local government has transformed its revenue stream and economy, making Hadejia a leader in revenue generation in Jigawa State.

The administration has achieved notable milestones, including the construction of two model market plazas, improvement in primary healthcare, and significant advancements in the educational system. Development projects are underway at the local government headquarters, and streetlights have been installed in key locations, making the area safer and more accessible.
Under Hon. Bala Umar’s leadership, the local government has become a model of prosperity and economic growth, making Hadejia a beacon of hope for other local governments to follow.
